Good Morning to everyone:
We are the very lucky family who was chosen to foster Raleigh so we thought you might like to know something about this special boy....he is remarkable..lovable..kind...smart...sweet as sugar....and a very happy Brittany. Raleigh loves everyone he meets...he must give a kiss to one and all be it human or animal. When you are around Raleigh you know immediately he is special.
When Raleigh needs to visit Tufts or Bolton Vet Hospital he has the look on his face that is saying please don't abandon me here, with lot's of hugs, kisses and whispered words he starts to relax and when we walk him to the car we are met with many wet kisses of thanks.
To the person or persons who decided he wasn't worth the time and money they have truly missed out in knowing, loving and being loved by a very special dog....their huge loss our huge gain.
Michael and I along with our children, grandchildren, Flynn our little female Britt and especially Raleigh thank you so very much for everything, to all who are helping Raleigh live a life he deserves to live we thank you so very much.

Raleigh's move to Connecticut was not without trials and tribulations. We had decided Raleigh could not move by transport so I booked him on a flight with me to Manchester with all the plans made, right! We arrived at the airport, checked in with little or no problems...should have known then that the night was not going to be normal. Our flight delayed out of Indianapolis, as well as all other Atlanta flights. We finally took off an hour an a half late. The flight crew started the nightmare, telling me he was not on the manifast. Well, you can imagine my state of mind. We arrived in Atlanta on D terminal with a connection on C. I run to C, flag down a lead, who tells me he will find Raleigh, this is now 10:00 at night. At 11:30 our flight cancels, I still do not know where Raleigh is, I am lugging his food and I am sure my hair is now standing straight up. The lead tells me they take all animals to A, so off I go, and grab the airline lead on A. At 2:00 in the morning, they tell me he has been taken to the onsite kennel, so I whip out my phone and start speed dialing to no avail, so I then called the cargo area who managed to get the kennel. I was able to stop them from feeding Raleigh regular dog food, thank goodness. It was now 3:30 in the morning, no hotel rooms available and I am in need of valium.
When I got to the gate that morning, they drove Raleigh up to board him on the flight, I have never been so happy to see a Brittany. He was laying down in the crate looking like this was all normal!! We landed in Manchester NH, with 4 NBRAN volunteers and two former NBRAN fosters (Polly and Meagan) to greet Raleigh. Raleigh came out of the crate and immediately adopted Wendy's daughter, he had arrived.
Our prayers and blessing go to Raleigh and his foster family. We just adopted Cody from NBRAN and love him so much.
This network is a wonderful group of people to open their hearts and homes to help these beautiful animals:)
Egad, flying isn't what it used to be. Glad that Raleigh weathered his flight well ... and I just get the feeling that with Raleigh's "happy-go-lucky" personality, he'll come through his surgery & post-op recovery with flying colors. (His surgery will be harder for us folks.)
Go Raleigh, go!
